Reuben Milner, one of the #MyBodyMyTerms cast members, discusses why he decided to be involved with the campaign in his video diary.
“I’ve witnessed the shame of people in my hometown sending around a naked picture of a girl… I’ve heard about suicides from this,” the Shortland Street star says.
“Honestly, sending naked pictures out… it’s a private thing and that’s what it should be.”
“If you get a naked picture from someone then obviously they trust you. You don’t want to be the person that sends it around… it’s just a bad look for you I guess.
Milner also sends out a message to revenge porn victims, suggesting that the perpetrators are “the ones that are getting shamed out, not you.”
“It’s bullying and I hate it.”
